Well about 2 months ago DH asked me to make an album for a friend at work and his wife who had just had a baby girl. The ONLY insentive I had for making this album was that I could possibly get some paying customers out of it! I mean, you all know what goes into making these things, and making it for someone you dont even know......kwim!? These people live in Manhatten, he a Microsoft big shot and shes an executive at Kohls. And they are an older couple, in their early 40's, first baby, they were trying for many years!!

Well......she liked it soooo much, she wants 2 more!!! YIPPIE!!!!! I am making them now. I am using the Oh baby girl line from Basic grey and the Sweet baby Jane line from Daisy D's. Shes going to give them as gifts.
They are 20 page, 8x8 albums like the first, and I THINK I came up with a reasonable price. Basically I am charging $3.50 a page - the price of the album it came to $2 and change a page and my pages are very detailed, lots of bling and sewing and stuff!!! She already sent me a check for $160!!!

Now I hope her rich friends will want some albums!!!!

oooh congrats on this! i always have a hard time coming up with a price to charge for stuff, but that seems reasonable, or you might be able to charge more, it should def be whatever you are comfortable with, just make sure you don't short change yourself!
