Soooooooo, what is everyones plans for the summer???? With Kids? No Kids?

My 9yr old DD and I are driving down to NC on June 19th and staying for about a week to visit my sis. She is in Clayton, right outside of Ralieh (sp?) I hear theres lots to do there. I went on-line, there childrens museums and a city tour we can take and malls and a HUGE flea market and the fair grounds and an ARCHIVERS.......YEA!!!! Never been to one of those before!!!! DONT worry Dawn, I'll save my $ for your store too!!! hehehe!! I bet it will be ridiculously over priced. I'll be looking for Patterend paper mostly. I am letting my monthly scrap club run out, I dont like buying paper and cardstock on line!!

Then we are going to CT for July 4th weekend to see my other sis.

Then a couple days after that my friend Alison is coming to visit me for a few days.

Mary has day camp at the YMCA in berkely heights.

AUG 3-9 we're going to Cape Cod, LOVE it there! I spent many a summer there as a child. My parent lived there for about 6 years. they moved there from CT then to FL.

I hope to bring Mary to Great Adventure too, I really want to do the safari!

Hi Janet.....we're going to NC this summer too! We are spending a week in the Outer Banks...I can't wait! We are going in August.

Hi! My SIS says it was pretty hot there already, I said we dont mind hot, I dont like Florida hot though, its yucky sticky!

Sounds like you have a busy summer

My mother-in-law just got us tickets to see Paula Deen in Atlantic City, so I'm really excited about that. Her biography is an inspiration to me and I'm really looking forward to meeting her in person.

Other than that, we don't have much planned. We tend to be spontaneous on most weekends (hop in the car and go), but the past few months have been hectic. Maybe we'll take a trip to a beach, attend a wine festival and go hiking if the weather permits. Hopefully next year, we can go somewhere.
