has anyone read this?

i read her first book. Housekeeping for the book club i was part of in philly (we met at a bar called Tattoed Moms, hehe) and really liked that one. i know that she wrote this one 10+ years after that one, so i'm wondering if that's why it feels so different.

it's really pretty, but i keep waiting for it to start going somwhere. anyone have any info for me? haha.

All that I can tell you is that it is just very pretty. I read Housekeeping first and loved it, too, which steered me to this.

This is not about the plot so much as it is about the writing.
